This is a project based on the poems of Nathan Buttrey. Nathan contacted me seeking consultation (which was a bit scary). I told him I knew nothing about poetry, but his poems were very musical. A year or so later, he asked me if would put music too them. I agreed and we created the Nathan Buttrey Band. This was truly creative chemo-therapy. It was pure musical fun, almost like if Mark Twain had a record deal. Nathan’s use of words is truly amazing.
